Hi, I’m Kaori.

I’m a licensed psychotherapist and certified AEDP® therapist offering compassionate online therapy for adults navigating anxiety, trauma, and emotional overwhelm.

I specialize in supporting high-functioning individuals who may look composed on the outside—but inside, often feel stressed, disconnected, or stuck.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply grounded in emotional healing.

If you’re longing to feel more at ease with yourself, build authentic connections, and live in alignment with your values—I’m here to walk that path alongside you.

Asian Therapist for Anxiety & Trauma-informed Care

Offering compassionate online therapy for adults seeking relief from anxiety, trauma, and emotional overwhelm—with cultural sensitivity and over 20 years of experience.

My Approach to Therapy

I believe therapy is a collaborative, heart-centered, and deeply human process—a safe space where you can explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences without judgment or expectation.

I practice AEDP® (formerly Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), a resilience-oriented, trauma-informed, and emotion-focused approach that supports profound healing and authentic connection. AEDP® blends traditional talk therapy with somatic awareness and emotional processing, helping you heal not just intellectually, but on a deeply felt, embodied level.

Therapy with me is like exploring a dark cave with flashlights—we move together through uncertainty and pain, illuminating the path toward hope, clarity, and inner strength.

If you’re ready to begin your journey toward healing and self-discovery, I invite you to schedule a free consultation.
Let’s take the next step together.

A Bit About Me

Raised in Tokyo, Japan, I deeply understand the complexities of balancing cultural values with self-expression. Moving to the U.S. broadened my perspective and deepened my empathy for clients navigating bicultural identity, immigration challenges, and family expectations.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy yoga, meditation, and karate, which help me stay grounded and balanced. I live in Westchester, NY, with my husband, two teenageers, a dog, and two cats.
