Emotion-Focused & Somatic Therapy
A Resilience-Oriented Approach Rooted in AEDP Psychotherapy
Reconnect with Your Emotions. Transform from Within.
Emotion-Focused & Somatic Therapy is the foundation of my work. Rooted in AEDP (originally Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), this approach offers a safe, compassionate space where you can begin to shift long-held patterns and reconnect with your innate capacity for healing and growth.
Rather than just managing symptoms, AEDP focuses on deep transformation—by fostering emotional awareness, nervous system regulation, and corrective emotional experiences within a supportive therapeutic relationship.
What Is AEDP?
AEDP (originally acronym for Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) is an integrative, healing-oriented, and trauma-informed therapy that draws from attachment theory, affective neuroscience, and mind-body approaches. It is an evidence-supported treatment shown to be effective for depression, emotional dysregulation, negative thought patterns, experiential avoidance, and interpersonal difficulties.
Rather than avoiding pain or focusing solely on coping, AEDP helps you process overwhelming emotions and past wounds in a way that mobilizes healing in both the brain and body. At its core, AEDP is grounded in the belief that—when met with safety, compassion, and support—every person has the innate capacity for transformation and growth.
In our work together, we gently explore your inner world—emotions, sensations, images, and thoughts—while staying closely attuned to the relational space between us. You don’t have to do it alone.

How This Therapy Can Help
AEDP is especially effective for people who:
Struggle with anxiety, shame, or chronic self-criticism
Feel emotionally disconnected or “stuck”
Have experienced relational wounds or attachment trauma
Appear “high functioning” but feel overwhelmed inside
Want more than just coping strategies—they seek true emotional change
Why Choose AEDP?
AEDP offers a unique blend of emotional depth, relational safety, and transformative healing. Unlike traditional talk therapy—which often stays at the surface—AEDP works deeply and gently, helping you feel truly understood, supported, and emotionally moved in ways that can lead to lasting change.
By integrating mind, body, and relational connection, this experiential therapy supports you in processing painful experiences, accessing core emotions, and reconnecting with your inner resilience. It is especially helpful if you’ve felt stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected in more conventional talk therapy.
AEDP isn’t about analyzing what’s wrong—it’s about experiencing what’s right when healing unfolds within a safe, attuned relationship.
You don’t have to do it alone.
Let’s begin your journey toward emotional healing and transformation.
