Psychotherapy for Emotional Healing, Connection & Growth
My primary approach is emotion-focused, somatic, grounded in the principles of AEDP Psychotherapy (originally Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy). This gentle, experiential process supports healing through deep emotional connection, mind-body awareness, and inner transformation.
For those seeking a more structured, short-term approach to trauma—without needing to talk through every detail—I also offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) as an additional option. As I continue to explore and integrate ART into my practice, we can discuss how it might fit into your unique healing journey.
Emotion-focused & Somatic Therapy
A warm, mind-body approach rooted in AEDP Psychotherapy
My primary approach to therapy is based on AEDP (formerly Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy)—a resilience-focused, experiential therapy fosters emotional healing, self-compassion, and lasting transformation through safe, relational connection.
In this work, we draw on the the innate wisdom of the body, emotions, and mind to calm the nervous system, activate neuroplasticity, and create new, corrective experiences. You’ll be supported in working through anxiety, emotional pain, and relational wounds.
Our sessions create a safe, supportive space where even long-held patterns can begin to shift, allowing lasting change to emerge from within.
What to expect:
Gentle, collaborative exploration of feelings and body sensations
Practical tools to regulate emotion and build emotional resilience
Support for healing attachment wounds and deepening your connection with yourself and others
A short-term, structured trauma therapy using eye movements and imagery
In addition to AEDP-based therapy, I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a structured, short-term trauma therapy that uses guided eye movements and imagery. ART can be helpful for anxiety, PTSD, and other trauma-related challenges. As I continue to thoughtfully integrate it into my practice, I offer it selectively and am happy to explore together whether it may be a supportive fit for your healing journey.
